Zygote Intrafallopian Transfer (ZIFT)

In some patients, especially those with repeated previous IVF failure is advanced maternal age, transferring embryos at the zygote stage (i.e.: 24 hour after retrieval) may prove more successful than the usual standard mode of embryo transfer. However this technique necessitate general anesthesia and then performed only on a selected group of patients.
